About Bullerbo
Unika is a unique residential facility for children and young people within the framework of the Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS). The environment and support are tailored to each child's needs. Located in Ösmo, fifty miles south of Stockholm and one mile north of Nynäshamn, we offer short-term residential care for children and young people with varying degrees of functional impairments who need support and assistance in their daily lives.
We are currently seeking hourly employees with the possibility of starting soon, preferably within the next few days, for summer work.
About the Role of Support Assistant
As a support assistant, you will work on providing individually adapted support to people with functional impairments, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in daily life. You will support users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective handling to create security and predictability in the users' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget.
Qualifications
- Education as a nursing assistant or nursery assistant, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or higher education in a relevant field.
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Meritorious if you additionally have
- Experience in psychiatry, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective handling.
- Experience working with complex support needs.
Employment type: Hourly employment, summer substitute primarily during July.
Working hours: Day, evening, weekend, night.
Collective agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
