Personal Assistant Wanted for 12-Year-Old Boy in Upplands Väsby

I am a 12-year-old boy with an intellectual disability living with my family in Upplands Väsby. I am now looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant and be a support in my daily life after school, on weekends, and during certain nights on call.

We are looking for someone who is secure, calm, attentive, and has a genuine interest in working with children. It is important that you can create structure, security, and a positive approach in everyday life.

We are also looking for someone who is proactive and sees what needs to be done without needing detailed instructions. You have the ability to plan and take initiative for activities that stimulate and create a meaningful daily life, while being attentive to my needs, wishes, and daily condition.

We would appreciate it if you have experience working with children, and experience with autism is particularly advantageous. It is also a big plus if you have experience with visual supports and clear pedagogy.

We are looking for someone who:

• Can create structure and contribute to a secure and positive daily life.
• Has good cooperation skills and can build a good relationship with both me and my family.

Qualifications:

• Non-smoking is a requirement.
• A driver's license is desirable.
• You need to be comfortable with dogs, as there is a dog in the home.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and that you and the family work well together.

Working Hours

The working hours are mainly afternoons after school, weekends, and certain nights on call.
