Alma Assistans is the dedicated company that creates personal assistance in collaboration with the client. We work closely with the client and know that good relationships are the key to a well-functioning assistance service. We operate throughout Sweden with our head office in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö.

We are now looking for a personal assistant for the summer as a temporary replacement; an introduction can start quickly for the right person.

The work involves supporting an individual who needs personal care and daily support in their home. The role involves responsible work where you daily contribute to creating conditions for as independent and active a life as possible.

Job Responsibilities: As a personal assistant, your duties will include support in personal care, help with daily chores at home, and accompaniment to activities and doctor's visits. Since the user has aphasia, good communication is central to being able to adapt the work to the individual's needs.

In the role, you work largely independently, but of course have support from both managers and colleagues. Working hours vary with day shifts (07:00–15:00), evening shifts (14:30–20:00), and night shifts (20:00–08:00, awake night). Longer shifts may occur during weekends. You should preferably be able to work days and evenings, not just nights.

Your Profile: We are looking for you who have experience from healthcare and social care, preferably with education in nursing or as an assistant nurse. Personal suitability is of great importance, and we are looking for a flexible and sensitive person who can work independently while being part of a team. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is necessary to communicate and document correctly.
