We are looking for a KMA Manager (Quality, Environment & Working Environment)

Do you want to be part of developing and ensuring the quality of a growing group with several companies and operations in different locations? We are now looking for an engaged KMA Manager who wants to take a key role in our continued work within quality, environment, working environment, and sustainability.

About the role

As a KMA Manager here, you will have a central, operational, and developmental role where you drive and develop our work within quality, environment, and working environment throughout the entire group. The role is close to operations and involves active work within the organization, where you primarily collaborate with the operational manager, area managers, HR, and other staff functions, as well as with management, safety representatives, and other employees to ensure a safe, secure, sustainable, and efficient operation.

The position also involves some travel within our operational areas.

You will among other things:

  • Own, drive, further develop, and follow up on the group's Quality, Environment & Working Environment work with full responsibility according to our certifications and legal requirements.
  • Plan, conduct, and document before, during, and after internal and external audits (regarding KMA work) and be responsible for management reviews, etc.
  • Own, update, further develop, and follow up on the management system so that it functions optimally and complies with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
    • Document control and routine management
    • Ensure compliance with laws, requirements, and internal guidelines and handle authority contacts
    • Work with process mapping and process descriptions as well as streamlining working methods
    • Systematic working environment work
    • Environmental work related to waste, fuel, emissions, and chemicals
    • Support and train the organization, managers, and employees on KMA issues
    • Follow up, analyze, and improve processes within quality, environment, and working environment
    • Actively work with and support managers with risk assessments and safety rounds
    • Ensure effective and functioning improvement work
  • In the long term, drive the work of certifying the operation within traffic safety (ISO 39001).
  • Be involved in creating the company's first sustainability report.

Your profile / We would like you to have:

  • University or college education in a relevant area such as quality, environment, or working environment.
  • Several years of experience with qualified KMA work from a larger company, preferably in a related industry.
  • Knowledge of management systems and certifications.
  • Good ability to work both strategically and operationally.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience within ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
  • Experience with ISO audits.
  • Knowledge of management systems.
  • Very good knowledge of working environment and environmental legislation.
  • Ability to work strategically while being operationally present.
  • Strong integrity and ability to influence and build trust.
  • Good communication skills and experience in training and supporting others.

You thrive in an operational role where you get to be close to the operations and create results in everyday life. You are confident working independently and have the ability to drive improvement work forward.

Meritorious:

  • Experience with systems such as Centuri and 2c8.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and other Office programs.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO standards.

  • Permanent 100% with a 6-month probation period, start date by agreement.
  • Location: Avesta, Krylbovägen 58
  • Salary: Monthly salary
  • Working hours: Office hours, Monday – Friday
  • The work is performed on-site at the office
  • Car travel occurs regularly (no overnight stays)
  • Category B driver's license is a requirement
  • Collective agreement applies
