Do you want to work closely with both customers and production, and see how your ideas become finished products? Then you could be our next designer.

As a designer, you will become an important part of our team. You work with customer orders daily and ensure they are turned into drawings and documentation for production.

Among other things, you will:

• Create 3D models and manufacturing documentation
• Produce detail, welding, and assembly drawings
• Prepare production planning and work instructions
• Drive and complete internal improvement projects

Here you will work closely with sales, production, and customers – with short decision-making paths and a culture characterized by collaboration.

Who we think you are

You enjoy solving problems and see opportunities in challenges. You are practical, detail-oriented, and have a natural ability to collaborate.

We would like you to have:

• A university degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• A few years of experience in design/engineering
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience in project work or project management

We are Elkapsling – a growing industrial company located in Alby, outside Ånge.

Here we develop, manufacture, and market cabinets, pedestal solutions, enclosures, machine guards, and much more that protect electrical and electronic equipment in demanding environments.

All development and production take place in our factory in Alby, and our customers are primarily located in the Nordic region.

Practical information

We offer flexible working hours with the possibility of hybrid work (offices in Alby and Sundsvall). The expectation is that you can be on-site at the headquarters in Alby for an average of 2 days per week.
