About the Operation

The primary school/adapted primary school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation comprises 21 primary schools as well as adapted primary school, and the total number of students is approx. 4,500. Four of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes leisure-time centers.

About Skolgårda School

Skolgårda School (grades F-9 and leisure-time center) is located in the historic quarters around Motala Verkstad, close to the city center, Borenshult locks, and nature. Skolgårda has chosen to profile itself with a focus on goal achievement, safety, and well-being, and is not without reason proud of our good results! We have a high proportion of qualified staff and a collegium that stays at the workplace for a long time. This ensures good continuity for our students.

Job Duties

The position involves teaching in grades 4-6 as well as mentorship. You will be part of a work team where collaboration and engagement are important. You are expected to have close collaboration with the educators within the grade and the work team.

At the school, we work together to increase our shared vision and the student's learning environment, and our teaching is under constant development.

Qualifications

• Primary teacher degree and certification.
• Eligibility for grades 4-6 in Math, Swedish, English, Social Studies, Science, and Technology/Crafts.

You have knowledge of the school's steering documents, good didactic and pedagogical ability, and can therefore lead and organize your work to create study quiet and a good learning environment for our students. You have a professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible, have clear leadership in the classroom, and show great engagement in creating teaching that is adapted to each student's prerequisites and needs. You have good communicative skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.
