We are looking for a University Lecturer in Nursing Science for a permanent position at the Department of Health Sciences, Örebro University.

About Us
The Department of Health Sciences (HV) offers undergraduate and advanced level education in the Nursing Programme and six Specialist Nurse Programmes. Research in the field of nursing is conducted with a focus on people's health and learning in various research groups, focusing on patients of all ages and their relatives, professional development, as well as method and theory development. We are seeking a University Lecturer and two tenured University Assistant Lecturers who are licensed nurses. This position is part of a long-term initiative to build our academic capacity in teaching and research to meet future needs.
In the autumn of 2025, the implementation of a new Nursing Programme at Örebro University began. The new programme places increased emphasis on clinical and academic competence and closer collaboration with regional and municipal healthcare providers.

Job Responsibilities
As a University Lecturer, you will devote the majority of your working time to teaching on the Nursing Programme and at the advanced level. The position also includes research and related collaboration. In addition to teaching, research, and collaboration, the job responsibilities include development work, administration, competence development, and keeping up with knowledge development in the relevant field. Teaching may include course responsibility, examination duties, supervision, assessment, course development, planning, and evaluation.
