About the Workplace

Rödsleskolan is located next to the beautiful nature of Döderhultsdalen. The school has approximately 730 students distributed across grades F-3, 4-6, and 7-9, as well as approximately 100 staff members. All educators belong to a work team with an associated coordinator.

At Rödsleskolan, there is dedicated staff with a positive and inclusive approach working to give the students a good school day. We work purposefully and with great respect for each other's similarities and differences. Rödsleskolan is a Training School that, together with Linnaeus University, educates new teachers. This means that we have several students in our operations.

Job Responsibilities

Your mission with us is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet and teach. Great emphasis is placed on relationships and a special pedagogical approach.

You prepare, plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in a professional manner based on governing documents, evidence-based knowledge, and current research. You are part of a work team with other educators. Together with the work team and in subject groups, you and your colleagues work to promote the students' development towards the goals and are active in the implementation of our development work. You are responsible for contact with the students' guardians and have mentorship linked to the students you teach.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a license for teaching in Math, Technology, and Natural Science/Year 7-9. We would like you to have experience of teaching in Math, Technology, Natural Science, as well as mentorship.
