We are now looking for an Incoming Inspector for an exciting assignment with our client in Malmö.

About the Role

As an Incoming Inspector, you will become part of an engaged team within Supplier Quality. You are responsible for checking and quality-assuring incoming materials and components before they proceed to production. Through precise measurements and controls, you contribute to ensuring that the company's high quality requirements are met.

The role involves close collaboration with quality engineers and specialists, with a major focus on measurement in Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and continuous improvement work.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspections of incoming materials and components
• Conduct measurements in Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• Work with manual measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Document and report deviations according to established processes
• Participate in improvement work and the development of quality processes
• Ensure order, structure, and quality in daily work

Who We Are Looking For

We believe you have a background in the manufacturing industry and have worked in a role where quality and precision have been a natural part of everyday life.

You have, for example, worked as:

• Incoming Inspector
• Quality Inspector
• Metrology Technician
• Quality Technician
• CNC Operator with measurement responsibilities
• Machine Operator with quality control duties
• Production Engineer or similar technical role

We Prefer That You Have:

• A few years of experience from the manufacturing industry
• Experience in quality control and measurement
• Good proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Experience with manual measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

It is an extra advantage if you have experience with:

• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
• PC-DMIS or other measurement software
• Form and position tolerances (GD&T)
• Incoming inspection of components
• ERP systems, such as Jeeves or Microsoft Dynamics
