Alfa Laval continuously develops solutions to be the #1 partner in nuclear power. We are looking for a Global nuclear specialist and factory QA to enable a stable bid process and quality management system. In this job, you will play a crucial role in adapting the offering to the needs of the customer. You are part of a cross-functional team with unique expertise in manufacturing equipment for the nuclear power industry. In your role, you will be the driving force to secure both compliance during the bid and the overall quality management system.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Global nuclear specialist
· Drive the creation of processes, procedures, and project-specific documentation related to nuclear quotations and execution globally
· Enhance collaboration between key stakeholders in Nuclear Project business: Sales companies, Global sales, Project execution, and all relevant experts
· Provide technical support for nuclear bids
Factory Quality Assurance manager (Lund site)
· Work to ensure that the quality of products, systems, and processes meets the requirements of the company, customers, and authorities with a focus on nuclear codes.
· Develop Quality management systems according to relevant standards, legal requirements, Alfa Laval standards/specifications, and customer requirements, with a focus on nuclear codes (e.g., ASME III, RCCM).
Who you are
As a person, you are curious, with a focus on quality and a sense for detail. You understand customer behavior and have experience working with demanding customers. You are a good communicator who knows how to work across different functions & organizations and build the network required to complete work tasks. Furthermore, you are flexible to keep the right balance between working autonomously and giving support to the team, as well as balancing short- and long-term activities.
What you know
You have a master’s degree in engineering, preferably in the areas of nuclear or quality control and assurance. You have solid experience in manufacturing and understand relevant nuclear codes, pressure vessel codes, and quality systems and standards (ISO / EN, ASTM / ASME / PED). You are fluent in written and verbal English.
