We are now shifting into high gear in Skåne.

We are looking for an Automation Engineer with experience in industrial automation – welcoming both those with a few years of experience and more senior professionals who want to take greater technical responsibility.

About the role

You will work with the development and implementation of automation solutions within industrial facilities, machine systems, and production environments. Projects vary from in-house assignments in Lund to assignments at customer sites.

As an Automation Engineer, you are responsible for developing and implementing efficient automation solutions to improve production processes and increase efficiency. You work together with engineers and technicians to ensure quality standards and optimize production flows.

Typical areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and program PLC systems for automated processes
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure system functionality
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify areas for improvement
  • Create and maintain documentation of automation systems and processes
  • Provide technical support and training to personnel to ensure correct system usage

For more senior candidates, there is an opportunity to:

  • Take on the role of technical lead or sub-project manager
  • Drive technical concepts and architecture
  • Be responsible for larger automation solutions
  • Contribute to the development of methodology and working methods
Who we are looking for

You have:

  • A degree from University, College, or University College in automation, electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience with PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English

You are technically confident, solution-oriented, and thrive in projects where quality and delivery are central.
