As a Preparation Specialist for our client in the marine defense industry, you will work more preparatory and become a key link between design and production. You plan and create the prerequisites for efficient manufacturing, while collaborating with several technical functions and contributing to the development of both processes and working methods. As a Preparation Specialist for our client, you work in both new construction and modification projects. You create work orders based on production documentation and plan for efficient production execution within the production facility's capabilities and processes. The completed preparation is handed over to production, and when it is time to start manufacturing, you provide support during the startup phase. Your daily work involves several cross-functional interfaces, and your day-to-day activities include, in addition to continuous coordination with production staff, often dialogue with Technical Preparers, Production Engineers, and Designers.

In your role as a Preparation Specialist, you have broader knowledge at the interface between design and production. This means you can perform standard preparation tasks, but also create production adaptations of 3D models, assist in trial assembly, and implement various types of improvement initiatives.

• Has a few years of experience from the manufacturing industry, for example in production, machining, production engineering, assembly, or other technical manufacturing activities.
• Has post-secondary education in a relevant technical field.
• Is proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and production documentation.
• Has a good understanding of manufacturing processes and how products are translated from design to finished manufacturing.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have:

• Experience in preparation, production planning, or production engineering work.
• Experience with CAD, 3D models, or other digital tools used in a production environment.
