Your Responsibilities

About the position: We are looking for an engaged and flexible teacher for support instruction aimed at smaller student groups or in special education groups. The position is for grades 4–6 or 7–9.

Tasks: The position offers challenging and stimulating work where you will have the opportunity to develop professionally. You are drawn to our approach to school development, which is based on an exploratory attitude requiring courage and trust in the process. You have the ability and willingness to influence our school culture through curious questions, your agency, and leadership. You see problems as a starting point for change and seek the thrill of daring to try new things to learn more. You are driven by seeing students' motivation grow through your work at both group and individual levels.

You have clear and relational leadership skills and value building relationships with students even outside the classroom. You want to teach in the subjects you are qualified for.

As a person, you have a great ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You have good collaboration skills, are engaged, analyze and investigate your teaching, and see opportunities based on given conditions. To ensure high-quality teaching, you continuously train and update yourself regarding steering documents, research, and scientific foundations. In addition to teaching, the role involves planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching together with your colleagues to meet steering documents and our local development areas. You use pedagogical documentation and formative teaching to systematically change and refine the teaching.

Your Qualifications

• Teacher degree with eligibility in core subjects.

We are looking for you who are a licensed primary school teacher, preferably with a focus on grades 4–6 or 7–9, with eligibility in Swedish, Social Studies, Mathematics, or Norwegian. You have experience working both individually and with students in smaller groups for support instruction or in special education groups.
