Coop Masthuggskajen is a brand-new store opening its doors in October 2026. As a Sales Manager here, you will embark on an exciting and inspiring journey by being involved from the very start, where you and your colleagues will have the opportunity to create a world-class store.
We are now looking for four inspiring and dedicated Sales Managers in the following areas:
- Fruit & Vegetables – Previous good experience working with fruit and vegetables is required.
- Bakery – Previous good experience working with bread and bakery products is required.
- Manual Fish & Deli – Previous good experience working at manual fish and/or delicatessen counters is required.
- Cold Kitchen – Previous good experience working in a cold kitchen, and/or as a cook/chef, is required.

As a Sales Manager for Customer Flow, you are a key person in the operation. You work towards set goals through well-planned and creative sales planning at our manual service points, ensuring a high-quality customer experience in personal interactions. Your role includes following up on and working towards key figures, as well as driving continuous improvements within your area of responsibility. You actively contribute to securing good customer interactions in both service points and the store, and participate in planning and executing marketing activities to strengthen the local customer offer. Additionally, you coach the sales staff in your area and handle workforce management during the store's opening hours. You are a role model who acts in accordance with Coop's policies and vision "Sweden's most important consumer force." The work is physically demanding.
It is important to us that you enjoy working at a high pace and feel confident handling stressful situations. The role of Sales Manager for Customer Flow involves some leadership responsibility, meaning previous experience from retail is a requirement, while experience from leadership roles is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
You will be the face of the store and professionally provide our customers with the best service while spreading joy in food and energy. We see you as a top-notch team player who is ambitious, easily creates long-term customer relationships, and has the ability to inspire customers to shop with joy. You will report to the Customer Flow Manager.
In your role, you will among other things work with:
- Spreading joy in food and inspiration in the store
- Leading and coaching employees in your area
- Minimizing shrinkage and waste
- Events, sales planning, exposure, and follow-up
- Orders
- Administration
- Self-control/Quality assurance
- Signage and social media

All four positions are permanent positions of 35 hours/week each. Desired start date is September 1st, or by agreement. We apply a probationary period. Working hours vary and include daytime, evening, and weekends. Recruitment is ongoing, and the positions may be filled before the application deadline.

Education
- Upper secondary education is required; post-secondary education in a relevant field is meritorious.
Personal qualities

Experience/Special competence
- The positions require experience and competence in grocery and/or retail sales, or another service profession such as hotels, conferences, restaurants, etc.
- Experience in leading staff is meritorious.
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
