About the role

As an employee here, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a store sales assistant for our Plumbing/Construction department.

Your main tasks will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the product range within Plumbing and Construction
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Be helpful in other departments if needed

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, plus experience in retail
• Relevant professional experience/training in Plumbing and Construction
• Passionate about offering our customers the best possible service
• Realize the customer's project through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Good physical condition as some departments require lifting heavier items
• Meritorious if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4) and forklift experience

Working hours/Duration: Fixed-term, seasonal. Part-time 30 hours/week. Scheduled working hours during the day, evening, and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement
