We are now looking for a primary school teacher with a focus on after-school care (fritidshem) for Marieborgsskolan.

Your responsibilities

You will work within the operations and be responsible for planning the pedagogical work at the after-school center. You meet children during their leisure time and support their development and learning, which is also connected to learning in school. This involves learning throughout the children's entire day. The role includes planning, follow-up, and documentation of the work. An important task is to create inspiring and challenging learning environments for each individual student during their stay at the after-school center.

Together with other colleagues, you are responsible for the content and the work of promoting each child's development and learning. Part of your responsibility is to build good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in after-school care (fritidshem) or alternatively a youth pedagogue. It is an advantage if you have qualifications in sports.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have good collaboration skills, be receptive, and easily able to put yourself in other people's perspectives.

You need to be confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changed circumstances in the operations.

You have a good understanding of how children acquire knowledge and the different prerequisites for learning. You also find it easy to take initiative and start activities in the operations.

Other information

The position is subject to a background check. Applicants must provide a certificate of good conduct from the police before employment begins.
