Your Role

As an ILS Manager in the ILS Analysis and Technical Information section within Missile Systems, you will play a central role in leading and coordinating Integrated Logistics Support/Integrated Product Support (ILS/IPS) for our missile products. You will become a key part of the entire system lifecycle – from design and development to implementation and support.

In this role, you lead and plan the work of designing user-friendly maintenance solutions with the goal of ensuring high availability for our customers. The work is carried out in close collaboration with other disciplines to ensure that the maintenance solutions are both effective and user-friendly. You will become part of a dynamic team working with cutting-edge technology and constantly striving for development and improvement.

As an ILS Manager, you will interact with the customer's ILS representatives, end-users, and selected subcontractors. Depending on the project, both national and international business travel may occur. In addition to leading the ILS work within one or more projects, the role also involves planning and coordination with other business areas, such as project management, procurement, and system and subsystem design.

Working as an ILS Manager with us includes, among other things:

• Influencing our products and systems during the concept and design phases regarding robustness, testability, and maintainability
• Contributing to our products and systems achieving high operational availability and low lifecycle cost
• Leading the development of maintenance analyses, customer documentation, and customer training within one or more projects
• Supporting the development of customer-specific maintenance solutions
• Supporting ongoing aftermarket contracts
• Contributing to the development of working methods, processes, and competence within ILS

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is technically skilled and possesses strong personal qualities. You have an eye for detail, understand complex systems, and are driven to solve problems through creative and sustainable solutions. You are proactive, improvement-oriented, and communicate clearly with various stakeholders. Your interest in technology motivates you to continuously develop and learn new things. You have experience from leadership positions or an ambition to develop in a leadership role. For us, your personal qualities are an important part of the overall assessment in this recruitment.

We see that you have:

• A technical or logistical educational background (e.g., Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience)
• At least 7 years of experience in ILS. It is meritorious if you have a background in defense, industry, or other technically complex operations – but we value your drive, leadership, and willingness to develop equally highly.
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• Experience with maintenance analyses, maintenance planning, reliability, and failure mode analysis
• Experience in responsibility for technical systems or project management

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with tools such as OPUS Suite, LSAR, Windchill Quality Solutions (Relex), HICO, Jira, and Antura
• Knowledge of relevant ILS standards

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance procedures according to current regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
