Skogslunds Metallgjuteri, together with VÅ Pressgjuteri and Skanslack, is part of a small foundry group within the SkansIsa Group Holding AB. Within the group, we primarily offer cast aluminum parts produced using die casting and pressure casting methods, in small to large series. Our main focus is the manufacturing of high-quality aluminum castings with high delivery reliability, tailored to customer requirements. We work with a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost.

Your Responsibilities Here, you will work with the entire process – from raw material to finished product. You will melt and cast aluminum, ensuring our parts achieve the correct shape and quality. The work is both practical and varied, allowing you to use your hands and technical skills.

We are happy to teach you more about the properties of metals and how to work safely and precisely in environments involving heat and precision. Here, you will work closely with experienced colleagues, develop in your role, and be an important part of a team focused on quality and collaboration.

The work also includes:

• Casting, where aluminum is poured into tools/molds for part manufacturing
• Blasting and simple maintenance of tools
• Continuous quality control
• Reporting in business systems
• Other tasks such as grinding, sawing, cleaning, and inspection of parts

Your Profile You have a technical interest and thrive in a practical, physically demanding environment. You work carefully, safely, and with quality awareness. Experience from a foundry or similar environment is an advantage. You should be comfortable working in warm environments.
