Your Responsibilities

Do you want to be part of creating world-class superstructures and trailers for heavy vehicles? To our client PLS Truck Bodies, we are now looking for staff for their production in Rydaholm. We are looking for you who have interest, practical skills, and good work ethics. As an assembler/electrician with us at PLS, you work in our production together with the rest of the team. Our box and trailer constructions are individualized to each customer's order, which means that the work rarely becomes "assembly-line character". This means that as an assembler, you need to be attentive and have the ability to understand what you are doing in each work step and adapt. Even though we work together, it is important that you can be confident in performing work steps on your own and dare to ask if there is something you do not understand or think is wrong.

Your Profile

We are looking for assemblers for several departments at PLS. If you have studied construction or vehicle programs, this could be an opportunity for you! Likewise, if you have worked as a carpenter, tinkered with cars, or similar. You need to have knowledge of reading drawings, preferably from a manufacturing industry. We could also be interested in you who are interested in learning and have the right attitude and a long-term perspective regarding a position at PLS. It is important that you have practical skills, can keep focus on several tasks during the workday, and have a positive and good attitude towards work and are not afraid to get involved. If you have experience and/or education or professional experience from mechanical engineering or vehicle technology, it is a bonus. We are looking for people who see opportunities and believe that problems are there to be solved and that this is something you do best together! With us, you end up in teams with different ages and different experiences, both men and women. We would like to find you who have an ambition to stay and develop with us at PLS for a long time to come. It is important that you can communicate unimpeded in Swedish, both orally and in writing. At PLS, there are today colleagues from both Ljungby, Växjö, Rydaholm, and Värnamo. So carpooling opportunities exist. The position is a permanent full-time employment, with an initial 6-month probation period. The working hours are scheduled during the day. Possibility of night shifts may exist for the right person in the future, but as a new employee, you always start on day shifts to learn all work steps and to have access to experienced supervision. Regional travel aids are available, but unfortunately, it is not from all directions that these times match with our shift times. The start of the positions is intended immediately.
