Vida is one of Sweden's largest players in the forestry and wood industry, with approximately 1,800 employees and 27 production facilities in southern Sweden.

At Vida Bruza in Hjältevad, we are about 90 employees producing wood products for a global market. We work with a sustainable material in a future-oriented industry, and Bruza is one of Vida's largest and most well-invested sawmills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What does the role involve?

This is an opportunity to develop in a specialized profession where technology, precision, and craftsmanship meet.

To our grinding department at Vida Bruza in Hjältevad, we are now looking for you who want to work in a key function for the sawmill's quality and operations. Here we grind tools and bandsaw blades, both for Vida's own sawmills and for external customers.

As a grinder, you will become part of a knowledgeable and helpful team where accuracy and responsibility are central. The work is practical, varied, and largely independent, with good opportunities to build a much-needed specialist competence.

You work close to production and contribute directly to high quality and stable operations. When tools are ground correctly, the entire process works better. With us, you get freedom in a secure operation characterized by quality, order, collaboration, and pride.

The position involves working in 2 shifts.

You do not need to know the trade from the start – we will train you. The most important thing is that you are accurate, practical, and like to do things properly.
