Job Responsibilities

• As one of four production managers, you are the client for the daily operation and ongoing maintenance of the municipality's road network. The work involves daily contact with citizens, contractors, journalists, and other stakeholders. Street operations and maintenance consist of winter road maintenance, gravel and asphalt surfacing, traffic line painting, stormwater management, roundabouts, refuges, green roadside areas, and public area cleaning. Main job responsibilities included in the position are:
• Inventory, planning, and follow-up of production
• Involved in investment and development projects within your district
• Economic responsibility where you are involved in preparing budgets and forecasts
• On-call duty during the winter half-year is included in the position.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have a post-secondary technical education or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have good computer skills and experience in workforce management within road and construction works.

It is an advantage if you have experience of snow clearing, bridge management, and bridge inspections, as well as knowledge of contract law and training in road work. A B-driver's license is a requirement.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. You are structured, have good cooperation skills, and can plan, lead, and follow up on work in an effective way. The role involves many contact surfaces, which places high demands on you being communicative and expressing yourself well in both speech and writing.
