As a Production Preparation Project Manager at Trafikverket (The Swedish Transport Administration), you help make daily life easier for residents and businesses throughout Sweden. You do this by contributing to the infrastructure of the future.

The Gothenburg-Borås team is currently working on railway planning along the entire stretch and is ramping up for the upcoming production phase. We are now looking for a Production Preparation Project Manager who wants to be part of this exciting journey.

The role involves responsibility for developing technical descriptions for major contracts planned for the Almedal - Mölndal section, based on the system documents produced within our planning projects. You will be responsible for receiving the system documents and developing buildability in the continued work. You will also contribute to the development of working methods, administrative models, and monitoring methodologies for Phase 1 and Phase 2 in TEM contracts, as well as contribute broadly to the program's contract and business work with the aim of developing good control in our construction contracts.

To succeed in the role, we are looking for someone who has the ability to work both strategically and operationally with a clear focus on goals and implementation. You communicate clearly and simply, are receptive, and adapt your communication to the recipient - both verbally and in writing.

As a project manager, you are unpretentious and engaging; you collaborate actively and involve others, create good conditions for the program, and build a collaboration climate where the program achieves its common goals. You work in a structured manner and have strong analytical skills, seeing logic and connections even in complex contexts, and using this to solve problems effectively.

We are looking for someone who has

• a university degree of at least 180 hp (120 p) in civil engineering or another academic education combined with experience that we assess as equivalent
• approximately 10 years of relevant work experience in project/design management in infrastructure projects
• experience working with the development of technical descriptions for turnkey contracts
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have experience of

• TEM/ECI contracts (i.e., construction contracts with early contractor involvement)
• leading role* in large infrastructure projects over 1 billion SEK.

*A leading role refers to project manager, assignment leader, design leader, project director, etc. Roles such as project engineer, administrator, etc., are not accepted.

The location for this position is Gothenburg. Do you want a flexible daily life with the possibility of working from home? In this role, you can work remotely up to two days a week.
