Do you want to take overall responsibility for our investment projects within Programs and Planning while contributing to the development of Gothenburg's future? Älvstranden Utveckling AB is a municipal real estate company tasked with developing, managing, and long-term strengthening of attractive and sustainable urban environments. We are now looking for a Real Estate Developer within Programs and Planning who wants to play a key role in the development of central Gothenburg.

About the role
As a Real Estate Developer within Programs and Planning at Älvstranden Utveckling, you will become an important part of the work on our larger investment projects in early stages. You contribute to the development of our land areas by working with program work, planning processes, and various types of investigations.

You work in projects that vary over time and collaborate closely with both internal colleagues and external actors. In this role, you have the opportunity to influence the city's development through participation in program and detailed planning work, where you contribute the real estate owner's perspective.

You have a central role in driving and developing projects forward, and help ensure that our initiatives maintain high quality and are carried out in a structured and sustainable manner.

This is a role for you who want to work strategically and operationally in a dynamic environment, with great variation in both projects and issues.

As a Real Estate Developer, you get a broad and developmental responsibility where you among other things:

• Drive and participate in investment projects in early stages, from program to planning process
• Work with real estate development within our land areas
• Prepare and conduct investigations related to projects and development initiatives
• Actively participate in the city's program and detailed planning work from the real estate owner's perspective
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the different phases of the projects
• Contribute to developing working methods, structure, and quality in the unit's projects.

You also work with other prioritized tasks in dialogue with your nearest manager.

Your Profile
You have a relevant higher education or university degree in fields such as community planning, real estate development, or urban planning. You have many years of experience working in early stages within real estate development, plans, and programs, and have good experience collaborating with consultants, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders. It is important that you have good knowledge of the Planning and Building Act, real estate law, and environmental legislation, as well as an understanding of real estate economics and business aspects in the projects.

As a person, you are communicative, structured, and confident in driving both your own tasks and project teams forward. You thrive in situations where much is happening simultaneously and have a natural ability to create order and overview even in complex situations. You take initiative, see solutions where others see obstacles, and have an interest in both community planning and real estate development.
You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
