BDX is developing and expanding its production management in Vitåfors, where we work with logistics and contract services. Therefore, we are now looking for a Production Manager. Here you are offered an exciting and developmental job where you will be a key player responsible for planning and controlling resources and production in the operations.

What does the role involve?

As a Production Manager in the mining industry, you are the extended arm of the operations in production. You are responsible for leading and distributing work regarding resource and production planning, economic follow-up, quality, and occupational health and safety issues. You have various support functions within BDX as well as our quality and management system at your disposal, which contains most of what one could wish for. In your work, you have contact with both customers and subcontractors, so we are looking for you who are both relationship-building and result-oriented. Your working environment will be both above and underground, with main tasks such as:

• Plan, lead, and distribute tasks in our projects towards set goals.
• Control daily production on site regarding time, quality, occupational health and safety, and cost.
• Ensure that assigned occupational health and safety tasks are followed and that work is carried out according to current regulations.
• Coordinate resources on assigned projects.
• Maintain and create relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Daily documentation of deviations and issues.
• Participate in inspections and meetings.

Your profile

You have previous experience in a supervisory position, experience in production management, or otherwise acquired relevant experience in the field. It is a requirement that you have experience from the mining industry, and it is an advantage if you have worked in underground environments. Qualifications

• Work experience in production management/supervisory position or equivalent experience that the employer considers relevant.
• Experience from the mining industry.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Advantageous

• Experience of mining-related work underground.
