In the heart of Piteå lies Smurfit Westrock Piteå, one of Europe's largest kraftliner mills. We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work with technical issues to ensure a long-term and sustainable operation of the paper mill.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support production and maintenance teams with technical expertise.
• Drive improvements and development projects regarding technology and working methods within the maintenance area.
• Conduct investigations and write reports within the maintenance area.
• Analyze operational disruptions, breakdowns, and recurring faults through root cause analysis.
• Ensure that equipment complies with regulatory requirements.
• Document in maintenance systems, Intranet, and document management systems.
• Monitor key performance indicators within the maintenance area.

Requirements

We are looking for you who have a university or civil engineering degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical or structural engineering, with a few years of experience in maintenance work.

You need to have good computer skills and be able to work with computer-based maintenance systems.

As we are an international group where you will collaborate with various colleagues within the group, good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English is required.

Experience with project work and from the process industry is considered an advantage.
