Hissmofors Såg is a modern sawmill with roots dating back to the late 1800s. Since production began in 1982, we have evolved into a high-tech facility with an optimized saw line and planing mill, where we process a wide range of building products.

About the role

We are now looking for a night-shift maintenance technician to join our team. You will work with maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations within the factory area – primarily indoors, but also outdoors when necessary.

We are a team of approximately 15 people working proactively to ensure stable operations at the sawmill. The work is varied and covers the entire industrial area, offering you both challenges and opportunities for development.

Shift pattern:

• 7/7 schedule: Monday 22:00 – Sunday 02:30. Followed by 7 days of leave – perfect for you who value longer, consecutive periods of time off!

Who are you?

You have experience from an industrial environment, preferably within hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, or lubrication. Alternatively, you are a heavy mechanic. Experience with preventive and systematic maintenance is a plus. Computer literacy is required as we report and document our jobs in a maintenance system.

You are an independent person who gets things done, solution-oriented, and has good risk awareness. You thrive in teams, are happy to share knowledge, and contribute to smart solutions that improve the sawmill's operations. Computer skills are required as we document the work in our maintenance system.

Requirements for the position:

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• Completed upper secondary education with a technical focus (e.g., industry, heavy vehicles, electricity and heating). Relevant experience can compensate for educational requirements.

• Experience in preventive and systematic maintenance is an advantage.

The position is permanent and starts with a probationary period. Start date by agreement.
