About the young woman

The young woman you will support is cheerful and curious, and she loves adventures. She enjoys music, swimming, being outdoors, and coming up with fun activities.

She lives at home with her mother, father, and siblings. She uses a wheelchair and does not have a spoken language, but communicates clearly through body language and sounds. As an assistant, you need to be attentive and aware of her signals. The young woman has epilepsy and requires tube feeding, so prior knowledge in these areas is considered an advantage.

About the role

You will work together with a colleague as the young woman has double assistance during daytime. Together, you will create safety, joy, and a lovely atmosphere around her.

We are looking for a person who has their heart in the right place and radiates a positive energy. We believe you are:

• Positive, secure, and attentive
• Comfortable working closely with both children and families
• Caring and proactive, seeing no limitations but finding solutions and believing that everything is possible, even if it takes a little time
• Responsible and flexible
• Preferably experienced in similar work – but the right personality is most important!

Before an interview, we ask you to prove your right to work in Sweden by presenting valid documents, such as a Swedish passport/identity card, residence permit (EU), or residence and work permit/LMA card (non-EU). According to the Register Control Act, you also need to present an extract from the police criminal record (Extract for work with children with disabilities) if you are to work with minors.
