Temporary Cook for School Kitchens

Job Description

We are now looking for a temporary cook for two of our school kitchens for a temporary position until February 28, 2027, with the possibility of extension.

Working as a cook with us means being part of an incredibly important team that always puts the diner at the center and stands for good service.

We assume it is natural for you to cook good and nutritious food from scratch using seasonal, high-quality ingredients, with a focus on reducing food waste. Since you will be scheduled at two different units, we place great importance on you enjoying a varied and responsible work environment.

As a Cook, your duties include preparing daily lunches, special diets, internal catering, baking, and other common kitchen tasks. You will also handle daily self-control, receiving goods, as well as dishwashing and cleaning. We place great importance on you having experience working with food allergies and adapted diets, and being knowledgeable about regulations concerning food hygiene and familiar with the Swedish Food Agency's guidelines regarding school meals.

Working hours are during the day on weekdays.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have a cook's education at least at the upper secondary level.
• Have at least 2 years of experience working in a public kitchen.
• Have basic computer skills and good computer literacy.
• Speak and write Swedish fluently.

Experience is required.

To work with us, a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) must be presented. Interviews are conducted continuously.

Terms of Employment

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
• Duration: Start ASAP, end: 2027-02-28.
• Working hours: Daytime.
