FMTIS Technical and Maintenance Office, Management Systems (TVK Ledsyst). TVK Ledsyst is responsible for the overall management of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and information systems and acts as the client for system administration, operations, and maintenance in this area. Nearly 190 people currently work at TVK Ledsyst, and we operate primarily in Enköping.

Main responsibilities within central production management

As an employee in the production management team, you will be involved in the planning work carried out within TVK Ledsyst. We primarily work with three production areas: Planning, Implementation, and Follow-up. This means we issue directives for:

  • planning of the activities to be carried out regarding the Swedish Armed Forces' command support systems
  • implementation work during the year and participation in prioritization work if necessary
  • follow-up and reporting of the unit's completed activities during the year

We primarily see a need for reinforcement in the area of planning. The Swedish Armed Forces work with short-term planning for years 1-3 in detail and long-term planning with an overarching plan up to 12 years.

The Swedish Armed Forces are currently undergoing major changes, and TVK Ledsyst is highly affected by this.

We therefore see that change work is something that motivates and engages you. Our tasks may change in the future; it is important that you are aware of this and feel comfortable with change.

You need to be able to analyze and break down a task yourself or in a convened working group, as well as conduct continuous follow-ups with relevant parties within and outside the unit. Leading ad hoc and periodic meetings is common.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Experience in leading personnel and work in a directive activity (or staff).
  • Experience in speaking in front of groups and driving specific tasks to a documented final result.
  • Experience in coordination in leadership positions, e.g., project management, line manager, or process leader.
  • Documented experience in working systematically and following established routines and processes.
  • Documented experience in independently analyzing and handling tasks.
  • At least upper secondary education, but preferably also post-secondary education and subsequent work experience corresponding to the mentioned qualifications.
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Good computer skills and experience in documentation (e.g., minutes, memos).
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).

Personal qualities

We are looking for you who are analytical, structured, meticulous, and proactive. You need to be service-oriented, enjoy working both independently and in teams, have the ability to quickly switch between different tasks, and be able to increase the pace while maintaining focus when necessary. Many tasks require quick preparation, which places high demands on flexibility.

You have high social competence and integrity while also having the ability to create trust. You handle communication well and are an active participant in both physical meetings and contacts via phone and email. Your good administrative skills and computer proficiency are needed to handle and direct tasks that are part of our daily work within production management.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working within a government agency and especially within the Swedish Armed Forces.
  • Experience with PI-Planning, SAFE, and ISO15288.
  • System worth reporting.

Employment type: Permanent. The Swedish Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not already employed by the agency.
