We are growing and are therefore looking for an Accountant who wants to help build the finance department of the future – a role that combines accounting, analysis, and project management.

About the role

This is a broad and varied position for you if you thrive with a holistic perspective and want to work close to the business. You will have overall responsibility for several companies, with a focus on project accounting and supporting the business in its continued development. As an Accountant, you will become a key link between finance, management, and project operations in the companies you handle.

The role includes, among other things:

• working with project and contract accounting
• responsible for monthly closing and reporting to our listed parent company
• handling parts of ongoing accounting, VAT, taxes, as well as customer and supplier ledgers
• performing financial analyses, follow-ups, and summaries for the CEO and management
• collaborating closely with project managers, managers, the CEO, and group finance

You will be part of a team of 8 accountants & project accountants and report to our Finance Manager.

Who are you?

You are a curious accountant who wants more than just booking entries – you want to understand the business behind the numbers and contribute to driving it forward. You enjoy working close to operations, developing processes, and finding smarter ways to do things.

You have good experience as an accountant, preferably from project or contracting operations, and enjoy working broadly – from closing accounts to analysis. Experience in project or contract accounting is a plus.

As a person, you are engaged, analytical, and like taking responsibility. You see the big picture, but also have an eye for the details that make a difference. You collaborate easily, are happy to share your knowledge, and contribute to developing both the team and the business.

We expect you to have an economic education or equivalent experience, as well as good system proficiency for at least 5 years. Having worked in a group company or a listed company is a big plus.
