About the role

As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are currently looking for a store sales assistant for our paint department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of sales and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that customers can complete their projects.

Examples of duties

• Active sales of the paint product range.
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area.
• Responsibility for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring of the department.
• Analyze the department's product presentation.
• Assist on other departments when needed.

Your profile

• Upper secondary education or equivalent, along with retail experience.
• Relevant professional experience or education in the paint sector.
• Passion for offering our customers the best possible service.
• Ability to realize customers' projects through professional advice on our wide product range.
• Personality traits: stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented.
• Good physical fitness as some departments require lifting heavy items.
• Merits if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4).

Working hours/Duration: Seasonal employment, fixed-term. Part-time 30 hours/week. Shifts include mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.
