To strengthen our commitment in the north, we need to expand our operations with more designers and project managers within Electric Power. Do you want to work with medium voltage installations in a high-tech industrial environment?

We are looking for you who are an electric power designer/engineer with experience and interest in medium voltage systems in an industrial environment. As a designer, you will be a key person in our TEAM and in our customers' investment and maintenance projects. Projects where electric power infrastructure is a crucial part of operational safety. You will work with technical solutions from preliminary studies to finished installations in a business where electrical safety, availability, and future-proofing are in focus.

We offer interesting and challenging tasks where we help our customers create smart engineering solutions. Our projects and assignments are both local and global, which means you get the opportunity to try out assignments in new areas in teams with colleagues around Sweden and the world.

Your tasks may include:

• Designing electric power solutions within the medium voltage area (1–52 kV) for the industry's internal power distribution networks.
• Sizing cables, transformers, relay protection, switchgear, and other equipment according to current standards and technical requirements.
• Producing technical documentation such as drawings, schematics, material specifications, and load calculations.
• Supporting project managers and facility owners in procurement, costing, scheduling, and installation work.
• Participating in technical preliminary studies, risk analyses, and requirement setting in new and reconstruction projects.
• Coordinating with the customer's internal departments, such as power operations, maintenance, and production, to ensure technical quality and operational safety.
• Participating in contractor follow-up, installation checks, FAT/SAT tests, and commissioning.
• Continuously improving design routines and technical standards within the electric power field.
• Following electrical safety legislation, ESA, strong current regulations, and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements

• Post-secondary technical education in electric power or equivalent (YH, university, or civil engineer).
• Practical or theoretical experience in electric power design (e.g., switchgear, relay protection, transformer stations, power cables).
• Good understanding of medium voltage systems (1–52 kV).
• Experience working with CAD-based drawing systems (e.g., ELPROCAD, MagiCAD, EPLAN, or similar).
• Basic knowledge and understanding of standards and regulations within electric power (e.g., ESA, Swedish Electrical Safety Authority, SS-EN standards).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Desirable Meritorious Experience

• Long experience in electric power design in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of relay protection, selective plans, and short-circuit calculations.
• Experience in project coordination with electrical contractors and electricians.
• Experience working in project form together with project managers and maintenance departments.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, documentation systems (e.g., PDM).
• Experience in technical requirement setting and procurement.
