About Us

The psychosis clinic is a specialist clinic that receives patients for psychiatric assessment, investigation, and treatment. At the psychosis clinic, we work according to FACT and RACT models. The staff group consists of nurses, mental health assistants, doctors, staffing assistants, psychologists, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries.

The psychiatric clinic is part of the Division of Psychiatry and Disability. The organization's mission is to offer specialized psychiatric care to adult citizens with severe psychiatric ill health in southern and western Sörmland. The organization's goal is to maintain functional levels, achieve improved mental health, and quality of life for our patients.

The adult psychiatric clinic in Nyköping/Katrineholm is organized across two locations with approximately 270 employees. In Katrineholm, there is an outpatient clinic, and in Nyköping, there is both outpatient and inpatient care. Both locations have mobile teams, a substance abuse clinic, and emergency services.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for you who want to help develop psychosis care in Nyköping. Your tasks are based on person-centered care. Together with the patient and in consultation with colleagues, guardians, and legal representatives, you will collaborate regarding the patient's socioeconomic and psychosocial needs from a holistic perspective. Daily work includes participation in SIP (Interagency Service Planning), treatment conferences, network and planning meetings, and Karsudden Forensic Psychiatry. You are part of a team at our clinic, and in addition to work at the unit, mobile interventions are included.

You will assist the patient in contacting various authorities.

We work with various types of group therapies such as PPI and IMR. Experience with group activities is meritorious.

Your Qualifications

You are university-educated and licensed as a healthcare social worker (hälso- och sjukvårdskurator). You have good cooperation skills and are innovative. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and look forward to meeting you!

Meritorious is experience with investigation material IBIC and previous work within psychiatry. A B-class driver's license is meritorious.
