What does the job as a nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person. We are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together in the team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the residents to provide a good life every day.

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main tasks are to design safe and secure personal care and support. You support the residents in their daily lives and create conditions for a safe and meaningful everyday life. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good, high-quality care and support in accordance with what has been agreed upon in the implementation plan.

This includes among other things:

• Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's concept Your Day.
• Personal care and support, and utilizing the residents' own resources.
• Work based on Norlandia's concept Tasty Meal so that our residents appreciate the food and that the meal experience adds a golden touch to everyday life.
• Document according to the Social Services Act; keep a social journal and create and follow up on implementation plans.
• Plan, offer, and conduct daily activities, outdoor visits, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individually and in groups.
• Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, escorting, and shopping, among others.
• Receive and perform delegated tasks, such as medication delegation.
• Take responsibility in ombudsman roles.
• Actively participate in the organization's quality and improvement work.

Norlandia GoLife has 60 bright and modern apartments distributed across six units – for people with dementia and/or somatic conditions. Golife is located in Mölndal, near AstraZeneca, with good bus connections.

• You must have proof of the right to use the professional title "undersköterska" (nursing assistant) from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Previous experience in care and support is meritorious.
• You need to have good knowledge of documentation.
• You must have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• We would like you to have good computer skills.
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.

Scope: Part-time according to agreement

Start date: According to agreement

Probation: We apply a 6-month probation period.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the last application date. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
