About Us

Närhälsan Sandared is a well-functioning health center with 30 creative employees in various professional categories who together form a competent team. The commitment is high and the sense of well-being is strong. The health center is beautifully located by Viaredssjön, approximately 1.3 miles west of Borås city center. Good connections are available by train or bus from both Gothenburg and Borås.

About the Job

Your duties at the health center cover a broad field of work and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You work independently and with variety in reception work. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. If you are interested in free and varied work with the patient where your and your colleagues' work environment is in focus, this job is for you.

About You

You are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and undertaking specialist training (ST) in general practice. You possess Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale.

We are looking for someone who is receptive and has a good manner of dealing with people, as you will meet many different patients at the health center in your work. You thrive in teamwork and it is natural for you to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.

The position is for a fixed-term assignment of 6 months, with possible extension and specialist training (ST).

For those who have trained as a doctor abroad and have not done AT (basic internship) in Sweden to obtain a medical license, the new regulations regarding Bastjänstgöring (Basic Service) from July 1, 2021, apply. Basic service for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialist training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means you need to do BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
