The Swedish Fortification Agency is seeking a Security Clearance Officer for the Security Department. Your daily life – strengthening Sweden's security in a period of strong growth

In a turbulent world, we have a clear focus: building Sweden's defense capability from the ground up. We build, develop, and provide defense properties and fortifications that enable actors in Sweden's total defense to operate from secure locations. The uncertain international situation means that the Swedish Fortification Agency is growing and has a significant recruitment need. We are now looking for a Security Clearance Officer who wants to work at one of Sweden's most interesting workplaces.

As a Security Clearance Officer, you are responsible for providing operational support within security protection in larger investment projects locally. The focus is primarily on information security and security protection planning. The operational support includes, for example, support in security protection planning, information security analyses, drafting local instructions and procedures, and conducting security protection training. Furthermore, the role involves fulfilling the tasks assigned to the agency by the Security Protection Act, the Security Protection Ordinance, as well as the regulations of the Swedish Armed Forces and the Swedish Police Authority regarding security protection.

The role belongs to the group for operational security support, which is responsible for support within the entire security protection framework and provides targeted support to investment projects. The group is part of the Security Protection Unit, which works under the Head of Security Protection with a focus on directing, supporting, and monitoring security protection work within the agency. The assignments are carried out in close collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces and other partners within the defense family. You report to the Group Manager. Travel is part of the role and can be planned.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have education within the field of security protection, and who have experience with security protection issues, including security protection planning, as well as knowledge of security protection legislation and its regulations. You have good administrative skills, good computer literacy as a user of support systems, and good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. A Class B driver's license is required.

It is meritorious if you have experience working with physical security, information security, and security protection analysis. It is also meritorious if you have experience advising on security protection issues and experience in conducting training. If you have knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' regulations regarding security protection services, this is also positive. It is also an advantage if you have completed the Swedish Armed Forces' course for Security Clearance Officer or equivalent. Signals security training is also meritorious.

The position is a permanent employment, although a probationary period may apply. The location is Örebro or Arboga. As a permanent employee, you will be war-placed. Employment with us requires Swedish citizenship and involves placement in a security class. Security clearance with register check will be conducted prior to employment in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act.
