In our operations, the requirements for information management are high, and the protection of information is a prerequisite for our delivery capability. We are now looking for a Security Officer who wants to take a key role in developing and coordinating information security work.

About the role

This is a role for you who want to work close to the operations and translate requirements related to information security and ISO 27001 into functional and sustainable working methods.

You will become an important part of the security function and contribute to ensuring that information security is integrated into the operations, from projects and procurement to daily work and collaborations.

The role combines operational support with the development of structures, working methods, and management systems. You function as an advisor in the organization and ensure that requirements are understood, applied, and followed up on in practice. You will belong to the Security Section and report directly to the Security Manager.

Your assignment

You work broadly with identifying, analyzing, and translating requirements within information security.

This means that among other things you:

• conduct and further develop information security analyses closely linked to operations
• support operations in information classification and assessment of protection levels
• ensure that requirements are handled in projects, procurement, and supplier collaborations
• contribute to the development of governing documents and working methods
• work with risk analyses, incident handling, and improvement measures, contributing to compliance and further development of ISO 27001

Information security in practice

In the role, you work close to operations to ensure that the correct protection level is applied to information based on current requirements.

The focus is on making information security a natural part of how operations plan, execute, and follow up on their work – not as a separate set of rules, but as an integrated part of everyday life.

ISO 27001 is an important foundation in the work, where risk management, information classification, and monitoring of controls are central parts.

We are looking for you who

We believe that you have experience working within information security, risk management, compliance, or a similar area in a complex operation.

You have a good understanding of how requirements are translated into practical work and thrive in a role where you collaborate with different parts of the operations.

• have the ability to interpret and translate information security requirements
• work systematically with analysis, classification, and risk assessment
• have good communication skills and can create understanding in the organization
• thrive in an advisory role with many contact points
• have an interest in developing working methods and contributing to improvement
