About the Role

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives.

You do this by being present in public places, hopefully providing a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the regulations of the Swedish Police Authority.

The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We believe you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and manage setbacks well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded when interacting with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great importance will be attached to your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training certificate and a valid security guard permit
• You have approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Valid B-class driver's license
• Swedish citizenship

Merits

• You have a valid full security guard certification
• You have previous experience working in a hospital environment
• You have previous experience in the security industry

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you must have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
