We are looking for an engaged and solution-oriented Process Technician in Gävle who wants to optimize processes, drive improvements, and create long-term results.

About the role

As a Process Technician, you will have a central role in ensuring stable and efficient production in the painting line. You will work closely with production and experienced mechanics, focusing on improving processes, reducing disruptions, and raising quality. This is a role for you who thrives close to production and wants to make a real difference in the daily work.

Your responsibilities

• Optimize and develop processes in the painting line
• Troubleshoot and analyze operational disruptions together with mechanics
• Drive and follow up on improvement work within quality and efficiency
• Ensure correct process parameters and documentation
• Participate in maintenance work and contribute to preventive measures
• Conduct root cause analyses when problems arise
• Create and update work instructions
• Participate in projects related to new equipment and investments

We are looking for someone who has

• Technical education in production, machinery, or similar
• Experience from process technology work in manufacturing industry
• Understanding of automated production processes
• Experience in practical troubleshooting in production
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Additional merits

• Experience in painting or surface treatment
• Knowledge in Lean or improvement work
• Experience working close to maintenance/mechanics
• Basic knowledge in automation/PLC
