This staffing assignment is a collaboration between us at Manpower and our clients. You will be employed by Manpower but work on-site with one of our clients in Gävleborg.

About the job

As an industrial worker and consultant at Manpower, you will have the opportunity to work for a world-leading global company. We primarily have needs with our client within metal processing, machinery and tools, as well as technical solutions for the mining and construction industries, as well as within the food industry. You will work in different departments with varying tasks, such as assembly, welding, painting, or working as a process operator. Forklift driving may also occur in daily work, providing a dynamic and varied work environment.

Depending on the role, the work may involve physical tasks, for example, standing/walking for most of the workday, changing machine parts, and other heavy work. We therefore expect that you enjoy this type of work and are careful with safety aspects in various tasks.

Other information:

• Location: Sandviken / Gävle. We would prefer that you have the possibility to commute to both locations.
• Start: Late summer/Autumn 2026
• Employment type: 6-month fixed-term with a chance of extension
• Working hours: Working hours vary, and we would prefer that you can work from 2-shift to 5-shift patterns.

Are you the right person for the position?

This job is perfect for you if you are proactive, engaged, and enjoy taking personal responsibility. To succeed in the role, you need to be cooperative, flexible, and eager to learn new things. A strong safety mindset is crucial in daily work. Experience in industrial work is an advantage, but it is not a requirement to apply for the position.

We are looking for you who:

• Have very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Have a driver's license and access to a car
• Have industrial experience
• Are open to working all shifts

It is considered meritorious if you have:

• Overhead crane certificate
• Forklift certificate
• Completed technical education
• Previous experience from industry
• CNC training or similar experience
• Ultrasonic testing experience
• Hot work certification

Offer
