We are now looking for a coordinator who will be responsible for SAO jobs, internship programs (prao), and other projects that strengthen students' knowledge of working life and future career choices.

The Development Unit consists of eight employees with various competencies and works across the entire Child and Education Administration, from preschool to upper secondary school. The unit is located at Värjan together with other employees within the administration. The work takes place both in the office and out in our schools.

Our mission is to support, challenge, and inspire school leaders in their development work. We contribute with competence development, coordination, and support in systematic quality work to create good conditions for children's and students' learning.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating and driving projects focused on collaboration between school and working life. The main focus is on project managing and developing the work with SAO jobs. The assignment includes building and developing collaborations with employers to create SAO placements for students.

You are also responsible for coordinating internships for students in grades 8 and 9. The assignment includes ensuring that internship placements are available and providing support to schools in this work. You also participate in the study and career guidance network and collaborate with school leaders, study and career counselors, companies, and other external actors. The role may also involve participating in or coordinating other development projects based on the operations' needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary degree that the employer deems relevant for the position, for example, a study and career counseling degree. You have a B driver's license, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and good IT skills.

It is highly meritorious if you have experience working within primary and lower secondary schools. If you also have knowledge of Eskilstuna Municipality's business life and municipal operations, we view this as meritorious.

To thrive in the role, you work independently and take responsibility for driving your work forward. You have an easy time creating good collaborations and plan and organize your work in a structured manner. You are motivated by developing new ways of working and contributing to the development of the operations.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent.
Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
Working hours: Daytime.
