Vadstena has three municipal preschools: Omma (established 2019), Blanka (established 2015), and Gullvivan, which is an older preschool in the town center. We are now looking for a substitute preschool teacher for Blanka.

The preschool curriculum and our key words – safe, well-being children with a desire to learn – form the foundation of our educational work with the children. We place great emphasis on all staff being well-versed in our systematic quality work. Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher at Blanka, you work in a team together with other preschool teachers and childcare assistants. Together with your team, you plan, implement, document, and evaluate the work based on the goals and intentions of the governing documents. The children's desire for learning, development, and security are in focus, and the pedagogical work is based on a project-based approach where the children's processes are our driving force.

The preschool principal and special educator provide support for you and your team in working with children in need of special support, as well as regarding guidance and consultation on accessibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher.

Since we always focus on accessibility and inclusion, you must have the ability to meet the needs of every child and create conditions for everyone to be an asset in the group.

You are clear in your professional role and have the ability to reach out to children, parents, and colleagues. You exercise good leadership and contribute to creating engagement in the work group. You are relationship-building and collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role, adapted to the situation. You are flexible, can function as part of a whole, see opportunities, and have a solution-oriented attitude. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
