Your Responsibilities
As a Resource Pedagogue, you work with students' social and academic development in close collaboration with other staff within the Resource Schools. The role involves consciously and actively promoting a good learning environment where every student has the opportunity to develop strategies for social interaction and lifelong learning, based on their strengths.
The position includes planning, organizing, and following up on activities before, during, and after school hours, as well as participating in teaching and pedagogical work with teachers and student groups. The role also involves collaborating with students' guardians and other networks, including authorities, leisure activities, and social actors. During school holidays, you will participate with other leisure staff in leading, planning, and following up on leisure activities for the students.
Within our operations, there is an opportunity to contribute your individual competence and experience to the mission of making a positive difference for the students and families we meet.
Your Workplace
The Resource Schools consist of six primary schools (grades 1-9) for students with action plans who need extra support in their school development, socially and pedagogically. The goal is to provide adjusted conditions for a functioning school attendance in a smaller context. This position is located at Kärnpunkten (grades 4-6), which has 11 student places and 8 employees.
The schools operate in small groups with high staff density, where there is also an opportunity to practice social interaction. The staff supports guardians in their parenting and collaborates with various authorities and people close to the student/family. At the different schools, educators meet students in their own premises. Teaching is conducted based on each student's conditions and needs, where students are offered all subjects. Students are met by clear, secure, and stable adults. The staff team includes mixed competencies with both teachers and resource pedagogues. We work closely with the students and base our work on the needs that arise.
The Resource Schools are an inspiring operation with great opportunities to, together with colleagues, continue to develop the Resource Schools' way of working to be at the forefront. We offer a job that is based on a student-centered approach, which means that we place great emphasis on creating teaching that is based on students' curiosity and conditions.
We are looking for you who want to make a difference for students who are struggling in school, enjoy working in a team close to colleagues, and like to find creative solutions to challenges.
