Who are we?

In the autumn of 2019, Bråvallagymnasiet opened its doors in the Bråvalla area – a brand new and modern upper secondary school focused on vocational education. Here, technology, innovation, and practical problem-solving meet in a creative environment equipped with the latest technology. The school currently has approximately 800 students and around 120 dedicated employees.

At Bråvallagymnasiet, the Introductory Programme offers students the opportunity to complete their grades to qualify for a national programme. From there, they can continue their studies towards a vocational diploma or continue with the Introductory Programme's vocational introduction to find a path to work. At the Adapted Upper Secondary School, our students are trained for work in Property and Construction or Vehicles and Goods Handling. Through close collaborations with the business community, doors open to internships, jobs, and exciting career paths. Our community is characterized by joy, calm, and pride in shaping future professional and secure individuals together.

Your responsibilities

You will teach Mathematics and another subject at the Introductory Programme, both within the vocational introduction and with students on national programmes studying Mathematics from grade 9. You will also teach Mathematics students at the Adapted Upper Secondary School. The role also includes mentorship.

You work in subject and work teams where responsibility, authority, and clear assignments create good conditions for engagement, efficiency, and development. We encourage collegial learning and for you to share your pedagogical ideas.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in Mathematics 7-9, with eligibility in an additional subject. You have a genuine commitment to young people's learning and well-being.

You are receptive, relationship-building, and see every student's unique needs. You have experience working with students who have learning difficulties. Your teaching is characterized by a strong and varied language where you can make your teaching visible both orally, visually, and in text. You are a clear leader in the classroom, secure in your professional role, and dare to set boundaries when necessary. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you are eager to contribute to the school's continued development together with your colleagues.
