Primary School Teacher (Lower Secondary Level) at Valdemarsvik Municipality (2 positions)

We are looking for an engaged and competent primary school teacher who wants to help create the best conditions for students' learning and development. We are looking for you who want to contribute to a school where every student is given the opportunity to succeed.

As a primary school teacher with us, you will:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on the goals of the national curriculum.
  • Work systematically with school development, including differentiated and inclusive teaching and clear, high expectations.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, the student health team, and guardians to promote student development.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a qualified teacher with a teaching degree and certification for teaching at the primary level. Great emphasis is placed on your having good knowledge of initial reading and writing acquisition and early mathematical learning.
  • Have an engaged and inclusive approach to students and teaching.
  • Have experience with and interest in school development and learning communities.
  • Enjoy collaborating and contributing to collegial learning.
  • Work systematically with follow-up and analysis to develop teaching.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, Start date: 2025-08-11.

Especially meritorious if you have both theoretical and practical experience working with children within the autism spectrum.
