Shape the future of digital obesity care in Finland

A private healthcare company is now seeking a Finnish-speaking specialist doctor who wants to join an exciting growth journey to open an obesity clinic in Finland.

This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical work with business development and play a key role in launching and developing an innovative healthcare offering for the Finnish market. You can work remotely or from Finland and will collaborate closely with international teams.

About the role

As a specialist doctor, you will conduct medical consultations for patients seeking evidence-based treatment for obesity, while also contributing to the development of a new digital healthcare service.

You will work closely with medical experts, business developers, and technical teams to ensure a high-quality patient experience and support the successful expansion of the service in Finland.

Scope of the assignment

The assignment begins as a consultancy role at approximately 30–50%, with the ambition to gradually increase the scope as the business grows.

We are looking for candidates who can commit to the assignment for at least the first six months, as continuity is highly valued.

Period: August 24, 2026 – June 17, 2027

Qualifications

Requirements

• Valid Finnish medical license
• Specialist medical competence
• Fluent Finnish in both speech and writing

Advantageous

• Previous experience with patients requiring medical weight loss treatment
• Experience in obesity treatment and/or GLP-1-based treatments
• Interest in digital healthcare and service development
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
