Welcome to Gottsunda Health Centre!
We are currently looking for a registered nurse for an exciting one-year full-time (100%) temporary position. Start date is August 24th or by agreement.
We offer secure employment and good benefits through our collective agreement. Read more about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/). In addition to your individual development plan, we offer regular training days for competence development, allowing you to be part of a large network of knowledgeable colleagues.
Your Role
Your work as a nurse will be varied, involving both telephone advice and direct patient interaction. You will be responsible for assessment and assistance in scheduled clinics, the urgent care unit (Lättakut), and home visits.
You will collaborate closely with other professions at the health centre, such as district nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and psychologists. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions, and you will be a natural part of this development work. Interest in leading improvement projects is a plus. Some remote work opportunities are available.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for a registered nurse. Experience in primary care or telephone advice, as well as advanced knowledge in urgent care or Cosmic Link, is meritorious.
As a person, you are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively. Success in this role requires flexibility, good teamwork skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
Our Operations
Gottsunda Health Centre belongs to the Department of Close Care and Health and is located in newly built premises in Gottsunda Centre, in the south-western part of Uppsala. We have approximately 14,000 registered patients and about 70 employees. Our operations are broad, covering all professional areas within the health centre's mandate: general practice, SÄBO (care for people with intellectual disabilities), Child Health Centre (BVC), Maternity Health Centre (MVC), Family Centre, and Youth Clinic.
Many of our patients come from different countries and cultures, making the work particularly varied and interesting. The health centre values accessibility, long-term perspective, and continuity. We have good cooperation between professions and support each other in daily tasks. You will be welcomed to a workplace characterized by warmth, care, and professional pride.
