You will also handle scheduling and manage cases via e-services. You will work independently and be a central part of our diabetes team, which consists of district physicians, dietitians, and physiotherapists.
You will work evidence-based, helping, treating, and advising patients. In addition to working at the diabetes clinic, you will also participate in general clinic duties and be available for 1177 direct care when needed.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a specialist nurse with a focus on diabetes care or a registered nurse with documented competence in diabetes. Previous experience working with diabetes patients is an advantage.
The role requires you to be flexible in your working methods, take overall responsibility, and have a strong desire to continuously develop the operations with the patient in focus. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and believe that good relationships create the best care.
Our Operations
Gottsunda Health Centre belongs to the Department of Primary Care and Health and is located in newly built premises in Gottsunda Centre, in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have approximately 14,000 registered patients and about 70 employees. Many of our patients come from different countries and cultures, which makes the work particularly varied and interesting. The health centre values accessibility, long-term commitment, and continuity. We have good cooperation between professions and help each other in daily tasks, both big and small. Here, you will be welcomed to a workplace characterized by warmth, care, and professional pride.
