As a Construction Project Manager with us, you will have a strategic and varied role where you are responsible for the implementation of construction projects – from early stages to completed operational premises.

We are now looking for two Construction Project Managers for fixed-term positions due to parental leave!

Fastighet is one of Umeå's larger building owners and is responsible for the construction of operational premises such as preschools, schools, nursing homes, and group homes. Within the Construction and Property Technology sector, we annually drive projects with a volume of approximately 900 million SEK.

Your responsibilities

As a Construction Project Manager within Property, you will, together with friendly and knowledgeable colleagues, have a varied job with many exciting and diverse construction projects underway. In this role, you will have the opportunity to independently take responsibility for the implementation of construction projects, leading and following up on both larger and smaller investment and renovation projects. You will have the opportunity to be involved throughout the entire process, from investigation to final inspection and handover to operations – an exciting journey from a holistic perspective!

You will:

• lead and implement construction projects in various stages
• be responsible for the project's time, economy, and quality
• procure and collaborate with contractors and consultants
• follow up on project implementation and ensure that requirements are met
• collaborate with internal operations and partners

About you

To succeed in the role, you have good communication skills where you collaborate and provide feedback in a clear and constructive manner. Your ability to collaborate is good, and you create good long-term relationships with colleagues, customers, and other partners. The assignment requires a good ability to plan and structure work through prioritization, organization, and scheduling.

We also believe that you have a good ability to handle varying conditions that may arise in a construction project and make appropriate decisions by utilizing your own and other employees' competencies. You are also expected to contribute to experience feedback and the development of operations. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

We want you to have:

• University education in construction technology or equivalent
• Several years of experience as a construction project manager
• Experience driving projects from start to finish
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious qualifications include:

• Project management education focused on construction projects, or alternatively, a leadership education
• Experience in preparing project cost estimates
