Community Security Group (CSG) is now looking for dedicated and professional security guards for our new security assignment at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.

We are recruiting a total of eight security guards – four positions for day shifts and four positions for night shifts.

About the position

As a security guard at KTH, you will become an important part of the safety work at one of Sweden's leading universities.

We are looking for four security guards for day shifts and four for night shifts. Please indicate in your application whether you are applying for day, night, or both positions.

The work places high demands on responsibility, a service-oriented mindset, and professional interaction. You will meet students, researchers, staff, and visitors from all over the world on a daily basis and be an important representative for both KTH and CSG.

The duties include, among other things:

• Patrolling and supervision of buildings and campus areas.
• Alarm handling and dispatch.
• Access and authorization checks.
• Service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Reporting and documentation.
• Preventive security and safety work.
• Handling of incidents and deviations according to current procedures.
• Collaboration with the client, rescue services, police, and other actors as needed.

Start of the assignment

The security assignment at KTH starts on October 1, 2026.

To ensure a well-planned and high-quality start, the employment will begin already in September 2026.

During the start-up period, you will participate in, among other things:

• Introductory training.
• Review of routines and instructions.
• Training in security systems and technical solutions.
• Tours and local knowledge acquisition.
• Practical introduction together with management and colleagues.
• Preparations for operational start.

The goal is for the entire organization to be well prepared when the assignment starts on October 1.

We are looking for you who

• Are trained as a security guard (VU1 + VU2).
• Hold a valid B driving license.
• Have a professional and service-oriented interaction style.
• Are responsible, secure, and solution-oriented.
• Have good teamwork skills.
• Can work independently and make own decisions.
• Have good computer skills.
• Fluently master Swedish in speech and writing.
• Master English well in speech and writing.
• Have good physical and mental capacity.

Meritorious

• Appointment as a peacekeeper (ordningsvakt).
• Experience of guarding within universities, hospitals, or other public operations.
• Experience of stationary guarding.
• Experience of alarm and passage systems.
• Additional language skills.

Recruitment process

We place great importance on personal suitability.

As part of the recruitment process, all candidates will undergo:

• Personal interview.
• Written and oral language test in Swedish.
• Language test in English.
• Assessment of professional knowledge and suitability.
• Reference checks.
• Extract from the criminal record register and standard background checks.
